Default What size tire on stock wheels?

I've got an 02 WRX, and was wondering if i could go with a 225/50VR16 or just keep original specs? Mind you its on stock suspension as well.

Thanks in advance.

exactly the same rolling diameter 24.9".... I am personally going run 225/45/16, which is slightly undersized but will gain gearing advantage and less stress on tranny.
