MadDad EGT sticks at 2200?

When turned on, after a clean sweep, my maddad clarity V2 EGT gauge slowly climbs to 2200 (max) and sticks there until its turned off. I know its not a sender issue because it does this with the sender unplugged. Has anyone had this problem? Is there anything I can do?
