Yeah, how do you do it? I'm curious, my new '08 Legacy has ugly reddish-oranage I'm wondering if the color can be changed.

for all those asking how I did it, it was fairly easy to change as there are just 2 bulbs behind/slightly below the a/c and rear defroster buttons that twist right out with a bit of creative hand manuevering. i had originally just replaced the green covers on the original bulbs with blue ones, but this only had a weak turquoise color, nowhere near the intensity or shade of the head unit.

so, after a lot of research, i found a company in the UK that makes LED assemblies that twist right into the slots that the original bulbs once occupied. i couldnt find anyone else that makes or sells these so-called "509t" bulbs

anyway, heres the link: http://www.aceparts.com/all-led-bulb...oard-led-1.htm they also sell through ebay

im not sure what other cars these will work in, you guys are on your own for that

wow i so needed that.

i too have a very bright blue head unit and swapped in those bulb covers.

it looks so weak. just bought 5 of these just to be sure.

only difference is i plan to do the cluster. i think $100 is worth it

This looks awesome. This would be great for guys with STi's or WRX's with STi clusters so they can make their HVAC red. A big deterent for swaping in an STi cluster for me would be the rest being green.

The blue looks real good, but I am not sure I would want a 2 tone cockpit. Plus to make everything look blue, you would also have to do the door panels as well. But I love the vibrant blue

I actually bought this one: http://superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html in B8.5D, but it was little loose. Is your perfect fit once you twisted? Is it very snug?

Yup they fit perfectly once twisted... its a bit of a hassle to get it right just by nature of the ridiculous angle that you have to contort your hand to reach the bulbs, but once you get it, they fit great
