Default oem boost gauge 06 wrx

I purchased an oem lamco boost gauge on ebay for 40$. I just wanted to make sure its the right one. Does anybody know how to find the serial number? the gauge is in the rubber mounting. I know I will need a t connector and zip ties. Anything else? Any links or advice on install? I searched a few threads but found 02-04 wrx instructions. Thanks

what do you mean 'the right one'?

i think pre-05 has a bulb in the rear. anything after that you won't see a socket for the bulb as it uses led inside the gauge.

you'll also need some vacuum lines and the harness. stock harness allows you to tap the radio for power.
