Default 17x9 w/ 245 tires on an '03?

17x9 +44 offset, with 245 tires, and between -1.3 and -1.6 camber in rear. Car has coilovers. Will I need to modify the fenders? What about with 235 tires?

Thanks in advance

Uhhh...with +44, it shouldn't be too aggressive, but I would roll the fenders in the rear to be safe. You wouldn't need anything in the front unless your incredibly low or if your coilovers have a lot of travel. 235's would look too stretched and imo would not deserve the 17x9 wheel. Go 245's and roll the rear fenders and call it a day.

yes you will need to roll your rear fenders, even for a 235.

yup I had to roll the rears with 245 +48 8in wide wheel. But im also only running -.5 rear camber so that makes it harder to fit. With 1.5* I probably wouldnt have needed too.

would it be a bad idea to move up to 245/45/17? the tires i want are only in stock in that size. i figure if ill need to modify the fenders either way, then why not?

personally I think thats to tall of a tire. It will make it that much harder to fit. There are peoplr running that size though.

I dont have the slightest idea why I put that it was a 245/45/17, it's a 245/40/17. WOW! I feel like an idiot

Tokico DSpec struts, Swift R-Spec springs. The rear fenders were rolled. The wheels are a Rota Torque R +30 17x9. I too need an alignment

245/45/17 would be too much of a pain to fit. They will also look worse if you have 17x9, the thinner the better. Get 245/40, look around if you HAVE to have those tires that were out of stock. 235's are too thin and 255's are good, but you definitely need fender rolling and coilovers, maybe some pulling too.
