It was built to be a daily driver. The auto isn't bad at all! The transmission is strong and you don't lose boost between shifts, so that means 17 psi all the way though the gears.

No traffic here, I'm from Iowa haha. I never really planned on racing the car so I figured there was no real need for manual. I just wanted a car I could drive everyday somewhat comfortably (as much as the STi springs and a 3'' exhaust will allow) with AWD so can get around in the winter with plenty of horsepower to still have fun on a winding road or embarrass an Evo or two when you tell them its actually a WRX that just beat them not an STi. (its hard to resist). One of the best things is to watch mechanics or anyone not familiar with my car try to move it. You can always see them lip "WTF, wheres the clutch?"

I really don't have time to do a stock revert. I go overseas for four months in less than a month. So if my car doesn't sell it will just go into storage.

Ha thanks man. A lot of people seem to concerned about the automatic. I can understand if you plan on racing the car on a track that you would want a manual, but that isn't the purpose of this car. It's built to be a daily driver that still gets attention and can perform when you want to have fun.

Also there are a few benefits to having the automatic:
1. No loss of boost between shifts.
2. Ability to spool the turbo to build boost before launch.
3. Better "Active" AWD system than the manual transmission WRXs.
4. It gives you the ability to continue being lazy and/ or multitask in your car.
5. No burnt hands when your car has been sitting out baking in a parking lot all day.
6. Anyone "could" drive it.. (even though I never let anyone)

Not to mention I'd probably have to replace my transmission by now if i had the stock manual transmission with all the extra hp.

I honestly don't think you have any friends considering you spent your Friday night posting on NASIOC from 10pm to 3am.

I can drive a manual and considering I learned on my first try and I know of 15 year old girls and old grandmas who drive manuals, I don't think its a skill worth bragging about.
