The amp would work for the 10w3, however, you would have to minimize the output in order to prevent damage to your speaker. But for now, I would prefer to sell the amp and sub as a package since they are designed to work together. If you are interested in the rack, I'd be willing to sell it individually.

coming from an audio guru... that would be perfect for the 10w3. you ALWAYS want an amp that has the capability to overpower your sub. any time a stereo or amplifier is peaked out it will cause a high level of distortion which is what really damages the subs. i beat the snot out of 2 JL 15w3's (400w peak) with 2 fosgate BD1000a1 amps. put about 1200w-ish actual output at 14.4v each. all this in an 03 single cab dodge. i created nearly 1.5 inches in excursion and never hurt them.cracked the overhead data console as well

im not too fond of JL amps but their subs are by far worth the money.

FWIW, I haven't posted this on Craigslist yet because I want fellow Nasioc'ers to have priority.

i would NEVER pay retail for a w7 sub.
granted they are great subs, but retail is blown out the bung hole.

but i must say, thats a pretty decent price for the combo.
