Ok, I need a new job. I know I'm not the only one out there.
I also know some of us work at nice big companies that might be hiring! If you are employed at such, share the love! I'm a Computer Science grad from RPI, still pretty much fresh out of college. I've been doing sales for the last 8 months, now running the store, and have many wonderful talents! I'll take just about ANY new job at this point. If your company is hiring and has need for anything remotely resembling me, please toss the email address for your HR department this way. Heck, you should get a finder's bonus if I get hired! Thanks in advance! If you, too, are looking for something, post a nice short bio on what you know/do (not a full resume)... maybe we can help each other out! -Ted

You've got a good point. Maybe someone (hint moderators) can post a job sticky that people can give heads up on when their company hires. You know, the "internal" job listings. Or the "do you know anyone who can do...?" This would help all of us unemployed and pseudo-employed.
Just a thought. |

Yo! Westport, CT, right here! Heart of Fairfield!
I'm a CS guy with a long history of tech support for all sorts of crap, not just computers! I'm not really a SENIOR support staffer, but I can sure learn fast! What are you supporting? Hit me with an email maybe? peter.cooper@mail.com See, I knew this thread would work! ![]() |

OK, a little off the wall here, but what my company needs are : MRI Technicians, XRay technicians, CAT scan technicians, and the like.
By 'Technicians" I mean the guys who actually run the machines and take the nice pictures of the inside of your body. anyone? anyone? *crickets* |

I'm still looking for work myself. I was a systems integration and test technician who delt with undersea fiber optic network equipment. So far I am dealing with at least 3 headhunters and have posted my resume on 2 job sites. I would like to stay local if I can but may not be able to, local being Southern NH or Nothern MA. Please PM me if you know of any technology jobs in a production enviroment.
Thanks Chris Z. PS Will fiber for food!! |

My fiancee graduates from Palmer College of Chiropractic with her D.C. in October, and has taken quite a lot of rad. classes... I've, uhm, been sitting in on a couple of them and, uh, pay attention sometimes when she studies...... So.... If she's overqualified for the job, does that make me qualified? Like, maybe through osmosis? ![]() Another unemployed, here. Laid off from VITTS Corp. in Manch-Vegas (NH) in Jan. 2001, and then from Navipath (Andover, MA... a CMGI company) late last October. Both positions were for senior tech support.......DSL/T1/ISDN stuff.... NT/routing/Unix... lots of Cabletron equipment exposure (worked for the 'Tron from fall '97 through Jan. 2000).... ...though nobody really thinks Ctron's worth crap anymore. ![]() Even though they're not really Ctron anymore, they're really four companies now... Okay so I'm worthless but I'm tryin.' ![]() -S2- |
