If I can find some corner scales to corner balance my car plus with some extra cash, I may make it.

it's about the same as our track day. Some where in between 20 and 30 people.

This is a driving school. They teach you how to drive.

how much of these 3.5 hours is full blown "racing"? Honestly, i worry about my car's health in an event like this. Last summer i got EGT readings in 1700 deg F while going through canyons on hot days..., cobb seemed concerned, but i data logged my car and it looked fine. The temps seem really high, and i would hate to have the issue that a lot of 07's are having with their engines. I am not ready to get a tune to fix this either, as it doesnt seem like it would "fix" it.

It's not racing at all. You can drive as hard as you feel comfortable. If someone comes up on you you just stick your arm out the window and wave them by.

It almost seem to be come full blown racing when the newb's wouldn't give you a point by. If he/she has a big ass turbo or a much more powerful car then you, you can't pass on the straight because you don't have enough power or he/she wouldn't slow down to let you pass. In the turns, they are as slow as like a Sunday drive and that's very frustrating for the advance drivers.

Now, I'm not sure during the driver's meeting that when situation like this comes, it is to make sure to let the faster driver pass on the straight if you have a more powerful car. In 2 to 3 corners, the faster driver with a less powerful car will be gone.

They run an advanced group where they all drive fast. The beginners group they are pretty slow, but they do a good job with keeping the groups at about the same skill levels.

I know I fall into that category and I have ZERO experience, but I remember letting the mean mug23 pass me asap, then tried to follow your line.

Jason, can we still pay by the session like the one you did or you have to pay in full? I like to bring my car out to test my new set up but don't need to run the full day.
