Is there anybody else on here that is from this area. Just wondering. It's boring down here and I see a few WRXs and 2.5RSs and a handful of STis and then some LGTs as well. So if you're in the area chime in.

well I'd like to get a little meet together if possible in the GA area. I was also looking for where they hold Auto X here. Maybe I'll post a thread for a meet somewhere where more people would see it as well.

I dunno maybe. I'm not sure where we can hold it. The only place I know of with a big parking lot for fun is Brit David Road and that's were lots of ricers hang out. I guess it would depend on how many people we get together for this meet. Plus if you haven't heard I hear the Pastrana car is coming in September or something to the Columbus Dealer.

Not sure how far of a drive Cordelle is for you but the Mid-GA SCCA runs there about once a month on the infield of a 1/2mi oval track. Pretty small but a good group.

Can't really say much for Columbus area but Macon has a decent car scene but its mostly hondas.

http://www.maconracers.org is the local forum.
http://www.coolcatracing.com is the local "performance" shop in Macon. They specialize in miatas though but will work on just about any car.

WRXAtlanta.com might be a good starting point for you as well...

Macon is around an hour drive from Columbus so a 2 hour round trip. It's not too bad I guess.

I'll be down at Columbus Subaru today to get the 09 FXT looked at again. I will see what they have to say about a meet. Maybe find out more info on the 199 rally car being there in September or whenever.

Also Saturday if you're from the area and know the Brit David Park where ricers and street racers hang I will be down there to see if any other subies show up.

well I met with a guy who has an STi he was military as well from somewhere I can't remember right now. He's waiting on his car that is being shipped. I also met up with a WRX owner and that's about it. There was a 06/07 2.5i that was there but he never came over. Even after his passenger buddy was staring at my car when I passed him earlier tonight.

Tomorrow I might go down to the Phenix city 1/8th mile track and then again I might just be lazy and not go.

I also realized why I don't go down there often it's because of damn street racers and people that come in and out and just have to light up their tires thinking they are impressing someone. F-ing people.
