Default Glazed the Ham (oops)

So last night i figured I'd try and Launch my car.. I didnt let the clutch off fast enough and got that terrible smell. I went out to drive it today and starting in first is not smooth at all. I was reading and people said that the clutch got glazed and you just have to drive it for about a week to come back to normal. Is this true? and if so, should i be driving it differently? (i.e. letting the clutch off faster when going in first, stay in the clutch longer, shifting faster/slower)

I just really hope I didnt burn the clutch, but after reading I hear it takes a lil more then what I did.

Yes, your clutch will often feel different after you abuse it like that. I don't know about a week, but definitely for a little while.
