Thumbs up Aftermarket Parts and Warranty Coverage

Hi All - Just finished talking to both SoA and my local sooby dealer - needed to get my warranty extended out to 100k miles -

Anyway - I initially talked to the local dealer about STi aftermarket parts -

Me - "If I put the STi handling kit and any other STi Parts will they be covered by the Warranty"?

Dealer - "As long as they are Genuine Subaru parts then yes they will be covered by the warranty".

Well I've been porked by dealers in the past so I thought I'd get it from the horses mouth - called the 800 number in your owners guide.

Same answer

So I guess that is a definate - Soooo for anyone that is worried about aftermarket parts and their warranty status - go STi.

Next I'm going to call them back to see if the STi/WRX engine would be covered - Hey its genuine Subaru

Jeff
