Question Bov Question??

I'm buying a BOV for my turbo set up.. I really want to get a SSQV because they sound amazing!! Are their any real cons to having one or are they better than the piston designed?

Now, what confuses me is that on all the listings like on egay say that the valve springs are adjustable. How would I know how tight or loose my spring should be?

And then does the vacuum line just go to anywhere on the intake manifold? Let's say my break booster line? Would that be a good place to tap into?

Sorry, hope this isn't to dumb/noob of a question. I just want to be 100% certain before I start hacking up lines on the scooby.

Dave

i have the ssqv and i really like it take a look at my build. the only con that i could think of is that if u place thebov after the maf it will not idle mine is open at idle and cause the car to bog, if placed before the maf than it is no problem. my set up is a blowthrough type maf though and fmic. the ssqv opens at idle closes when u give it gas then opens to let out any boost pressure once the throttle plate is closed. you adjust the spring to your liking with the screw on the back of the bov the harder setting is for those with higher boost pressures. and for ur last ? the vacuum i used for the bov was T'd to the fitting after the throttle plate so it has manifold vacuum the best source i think. well hope this helps.
