Default EGR valve for use with antilag!!

The traditional way to tune for antilag is to permanently open the throttle or to cuase a DBW throttle to open every time the antilag is enabled. However this creates power off thottle and pushes the car forward making it hard for the brakes.
I have been told that the way to go in order to have antilag but not having to open the thottle is to use an EGR valve. However I have no previous expirience with EGR valves, I know what it does, but I cannot figure how to install it on an engine that it has not been fitted with one by the factory.

Any ideas??
