FS: 1987 Porsche 944S

The time has come to sell my 944. With the purchase of my new car i do not have the space to keep her so she must go. I will try to be as honest as possible about the car.

Its an 87' 944S, the S model includes a dual overhead cam motor (16 valves) 2.5L inline 4 producing 188hp, redline is 6,800rpms. The S also comes with an upgraded suspension and better brakes over the base model. This car has been meticulously owned and maintained. All work was performed and documented by a Porsche specialist Mechanic.

Here's a list of all the major work done to this car.

- timing belt replace (about 6k miles ago)
-Water pump replaced (about 6k miles ago)
-Valves replaced (about 5k miles ago)
-sunroof repaired (4k miles ago)

Condition

: 90,500 miles currently on the car.
Exterior-Paint is in very good shape for its age but is not perfect.
-few small rock chips and tiny dents but nothing big.

Interior - Carpet is perfect, seats are original and in very good shape with little wear.

Mechanical - All electronics work perfectly (sunroof works, A/c recent freon charge blows ice cold) Motor runs great and has never let me down, tranny shifts nice and smooth with no grinds, clutch holds nice and strong with no slip.

Car was in 9 fully documented HPDE events, NO RACES. Car is stock with the exception of a beautiful Momo suede shift boot and a classic style Momo Shift knob. The car also has Fuzion ZRI tires with plenty of tread left. This car is so balanced and so fun to drive, it will make a great track car or even a DD. Getting 30mpg and being reliable it makes a great car to own.
