Default Parking Brake Indicator Light Stays On

I had new spark plugs and brake pads installed on Friday and now my parking brake light stays on. Does anyone know what could be the reason for this?

That light is not only for the parking brake, it's also for low brake fluid. Since you just did you brake pads, I'm gonn say check your brake fluid resevoir (to see if it's low), you just might have a leak somewhere.

Thanks, anyone else? They didn't bleed the brake lines (that I know of). Just replaced the pads and resurfaced the rotors.

Pads, could have done myself, rotors, could not have done myself.

bumping an old thread.... when you refill the reservoir do you have to use the same brake fluid ie if I used superblue or whatever it was when I did my brakes, do I have to use that? Also where is the reservroir?
