Default 07 Sti Tires Question

What are the widest tires I can fit on my 07 STI without ANY modifications to the fenders etc- just want to throw them on my stock bbs wheels- I was hoping for 245's but please let me know

and i really dont want to alter anything but if i wanted 245/255 (or tires too wide) what would i have to do and how much would that cost/ where do i go for that??

please help me out

many people go with 245/40/17s on their oem wheels.

If you have a lot of camber you can get away with wider tires. A friend of mine is running 3+ degrees in the front with 17x9.5 wheels and 255 toyo r888's, which run larger than they are listed, with no rubbing at all in the front. The rear is a different story. He narrowed the rear end with upper camber plates and adjustable lateral links and is running a little over 2 degrees camber. He also raised the rear spring rate. He says its totally daily driveable like this also.

I have tein H tech springs, perrin 25 mm front and rear sways, f and r strut bars, ladder bar also but i dont think the latters have much effect right only the springs more or less

I would love to slap some 245's on just the way it is- whats the verdict now everybody

have you tried searching?

my guess is that 245/40/17 will fit fine with those springs on the oem wheels.
