Default 20G block, 25D crank, 207 heads

Will this work? haha

I am 99% sure i have a closed-deck 20G lined up for cheap. I would like to use my 207 heads on it (so a 20G headgasket set is in order). I can use a phase 1 2.5L crank, right? If i do this, which thrust/man/rod bearings will i need? Are they the same on the phase 1 motors?
Would i want to use 20G pistons and rods? Do all the 2.0's use the same pistons? This is my first "build", so i'm a complet noob to it.
I'll probably be limping it around carefully at first, at least until i get a Power FC to tune it with.

Any other issues i should consider?

Anybody have a 2.5L crank for sale?

Thanks for any help on this.

Wow, way not to include much information you noob ! Of course the EJ25D pistons won't work in the EJ20G block.

What he wants to do is use a EJ25D Phase 1 crank in his Phase 1 EJ20G block to make a bit of a stroker motor. Obviously he would need pistons and rods to really increase the displacement, but wouldn't the 25 crank bring the car closer to a square bore and stroke, although not much...

Would phase 2 rods even work on a phase 1 crank?

I don't think so, the main difference that I know of between phase 1 and phase 2 engines is the placement of the thrust bearing.
