Default whats your average mileage your getting with your tires...

I bought a set of all season falken tires(ziex 512's) just last year for my 04 sti and they're completely worn out... i put just under 15,000 miles on these..
I looked on discounttiredirect.com and they have a 30k warranty...

is it the AWD that eats the tires? or what.. i mean my alignment/ camber is dead on, my tire pressure it perfect...

this even happened on my 2000 rs.. that car ate tires too...

lol maybe NY roads are worse than i thought.

Are they ALL worn out or just 2 of the tires and the other tires still have tread on them?
Did you ever rotate the tires?

Default i dunno...

i have no idea yet what kind of mileage i am looking at with my tires, but i have bridgestone potenza re960AS pole positions on my 02 wrx wagon. I have had them for about 10,000 miles now and you can hardly even tell that they are used yet. They have a 40,000 mile warranty so...i would hope they would still be good. They are a little pricey compared to other tires (i found mine online for 118 per tire), but in my opinion they are some of the best all season tires i have ever had. They grip really well in the dry for an all season (better than most the summer tires i have tried), in the wet they are amazing, and in the ice and snow they are even better. I have never felt unsure about the grip at all. Now, i am sure there are stickier tires out there, but definitely not stickier in as many different conditions as these.

I got about 33,000mi out of a set of Toyo T1S's, including a couple of track days. I got similar mileage out of a set of Goodyear Eagle F1GS-D3s, also including a couple of track days. I love to have fun on highway on-/off-ramps and on winding back roads. I generally run -1.5 to -2 camber up front and wear the tires evenly, so that says something about the workout the outer shoulders are getting on occasion.

So really you have no idea if it's spot on. The factory specs aren't that great anyway.

Your car shouldn't do that so something is up.

every falken tire i've had hovered around 20-25k on streets.. their tread ratings vary from 300-360, fks may be lower.. i don't really remember exactly

the set i have on right now are goodyears, so i'm hoping these would last forever lol.. or rather a lot more than any falkens

my alignment is set at -1.3 front, -1.0 rear, 0 toe.. which should be a good street setting

Disagree, have them on a my brother's plain jane 4cyl Accord. They work great as regular all-season passenger tire. Quiet, good in rain, and dare I say, they even have GREAT treadwear when driven normally...we're talking 50k+ on H-rated 16s. No comment for snow as we use a winter setup.

For STi...uh well, not my top choice...
