I commute 60 miles per day (round trip) down 395-95-695-97-665 so I see quite a lot of craziness on a daily basis. This guy takes the cake for sure. I have rarely in my life seen someone with such a blatant disregard for both his own safety and the people around him. Perhaps I could even be more understanding if he had WRC driving skills but clearly he missed that sort of training.

Ugh, that's a crappy commute. You'd be shocked by the stuff I see on a daily basis along my 4.6 mile commute

I do a ton of driving these days...I live in Baltimore City, commute to Annapolis and almost everyone I know lives in either Glen Burnie, Annapolis or Parkville so almost every time I get in the car I drive 25 minutes or more.

Damn, that's why I decided against moving to upstate NY. Anywhere you wanna go is a minimum 30min drive and I hate driving, lol. I live and work in parkville.

I know the feeling. I'm doing about 60-65 miles myself every work day, apart from the evening and weekend driving. It's not ideal, but I'd rather live in Baltimore than in craptastic Aberdeen.

I visit Parkville about 2-4 times a week so I am sure I will spot you at some point. If you see a brunette in a black Civic w/ speed dimples and horribly oxidized paint, that would be me! I beat the hell out of that poor car but that is the great thing about Civic's, takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

I figure I drive anywhere from 400-600 miles per week on average. Add a trip to OC or a trip to my friend's house in Queenstown and that makes a big jump.

If I drove a WRX, even a stock one as a daily driver, gas would cost more than my rent!

I hear that. Like I said, its nice to have a 10 mile roundtrip commute. I can drive whatever I want and not worry about gas

So I live off of Forest Glen in Lake Shore (Pasadena MD). I've seen 2 WRB bugeyes all the time. Just wondering if you guys are on here.
Where: Mountain Road near the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Department
When: Random times
What: A WRB bugeye with a wingless trunk (i want to go wingless too! and I think yellow film on your foglights) You turned off of Old Mountain Road.
Other is a WRB bugeye with a winged trunk and SUBARU lettering across it. I was turning onto Forest Glen and you will still going forward near the gas station on Long Point.

I'm the asian dude in a WRB bugeye with the 35% tints, black rims and a NYPD police sticker on back window from previous owner.

my work commute is 100 miles round trip (Bowleys Quarters to Greenbelt and back). i dont putt around and do a bit of spirited driving when traffic allows, so im not really getting max gas mileage. i have 43,000 miles on my 2010 already, and love every minute of it. gas isnt really that bad. 300-400 in gas a month maybe, no big deal. i doubt your rent is cheaper than that

btw i saw a black WRX (04-07 didnt get a look at the front) with gold rpf1's parked at the avenue behind red brick on friday at about 7-8pm.

I wish I had your rent. My gas costs, even with my long commute, are still only 1/4 of what my rent is.

You are correct, I calculated at 24mpg @ $3.79/gal and that comes to $316 just for work. The only problem with me driving a WRX to work would be that it would never get that good of gas mileage, I would probably be looking at 15mpg instead of 24 because there is no way I would be able to leave it alone! That jumps the fuel cost from $316 to $506. Not to mention added insurance, car payment, mods, fun driving...it would easily cost me $1200/mo to own a WRX/STI.

My rent is super cheap so I shouldn't complain too much. I live in an 1800's townhouse in Bolton Hill, a friend and I have the front half of the building and my room is the Parlor converted to a bedroom. Even though the neighborhood is pricey, the house I live in isn't updated like a lot of the others so the rent is about half of the market value for the area. It still has all of the original floors, fireplaces, and odd little details.

Ok, I am way off topic now lol!

Double sighting at lunchtime

spotted, and talked to Eyikrut at my work while he was picking up an E-85 emblem.

During that convo, spotted a silver 05 STi wingless with black wheels pulling out of the arbys parking lot on joppa rd.
