Default FS: Complete CarPC w/ headunit

Located in Springfield, IL and would help with the install if you can get here...

As the title says I am selling my complete CarPC setup. This carpc has evolved through many different stages, and I was in the process of upgrading once again when my first born came along in December and I haven't been able to do anything with it since. Long-story short, I am going to get a video head unit w/ nav/blue tooth capabilities because I no longer have the extra time to keep changing things on this machine. There is definitely nothing wrong w/ any of the parts, it is fully operational and if you have installed or know how to install an amp then you can install this without a problem

Everything you absolutely would need and more come in this sale. I will post pictures below then give a little bit of a description as well as some links w/ the meat and potatoes about some of the pieces. I should say I fibbed a little when I said absolutely everything you need is included b/c you will need a 2.5 to 3.5 drive adapter to run the cdrw/dvd drive, but those can be picked up for a couple bucks at any computer specialty shop. Here we go...

Here you see the monitor installed. I had to do a little cutting but the monitor, which is attached to a plexi-glass box as you will see soon, fits like a glove. The head unit is a Kenwood KDC-MP919. I love this head unit and have had it for a while. Just recently the display has gone out on it. I found this answer but decided against trying to fix and just sell. Sounds pretty straight forward. Here are the rest of the specs for the head unit. And yes, this is a rotating face head unit, when the unit is off all you see is a flat black piece of plastic. Also included will be an adapter that attaches to the cd-changer input that acts as an rca in. This is how I attached the PC to my car stereo, very clean sound. The doghouse will come with as well as the remote and head unit case.

This is the Xenarc 700tsv, 800x480 native resolution. It is a 7" touch screen monitor that is free of any scratches or gouges. As mentioned before the box attached to it is plexiglass - a little duct tape for good measure - and fits right into your double din stereo area. Here are the specs for this unit. If you go to mp3car to check this out, it is the best touchscreen on the market. And just to make sure you know it works I hooked it up to the ps2. Not only can you use the VGA input, it has two more RCA inputs that you can utilize if you want to run a gaming system on the monitor as well.

This is the Via Epia SP-1300. This board is still one of the best to use when not wanting to add an aftermarket video card. It can achieve native resolution on the Xenarc and has video acceleration to handle all divx/xvid encoded movies w/out problem. Here is more info.

This is the OPUS150 dc-dc power supply. You can run this whole system off this clean power producer and still have watts to spare. Here is more info.

This is probably the most impressive piece. I kept having problems w/ hdd going bad b/c of heat/bumps/etc. The last piece I purchased and actually pulled the machine to work on is this 4 gig solid state hdd/CF. Has a version of XP professional already installed and ready to use. There is no chance of your system failing with this and it comes w/ the paperwork for a lifetime warranty on it from Sandisk. Info.

Here is everything else that comes with, I will just list and not go into too much detail. -- 2 IDE Cables, firewire/usb2.0 snake to work w/ mobo, 4 port usb hub, 4 gig micro cruiser that I was going to put all the apps on to keep the CF clean, usb mini-mouse, rollable keyboard, laptop 2.5" cdrw/dvd drive, 40 gig 2.5" hdd with 3.5" adapter for music/movies.

If you have any questions please contact me with a PM or at essex.nathan@gmail.com. I am pricing this to sell at $850.00. Shipping will be actual cost and will also be buyer's responsibility. You can check out my ebay seller rating, my ebay name is essexna. Just remember you can add endless possibilities to this - nav, bluetooth phone, delta dash or other engine management software, ipod/mp3 dock, etc. - anything a pc can do in your house this can do in your car.
