Default What's the best way to get a dime out of the garbage disposal?

Apparently my roommate has dropped one in there. I have no idea how he accomplished such a feat.

I will just say this part to be super safe..

TURN OFF BREAKER..
the ruber skirt in the drain should just pull out.
will give you plenty of room to get a hand in there.

it's not that complicated.

Why would you have loose change around when you're washing the dishes?

Oooorr.. I'm clearly the most experienced!

you turn off breaker.. it's not a dangerous piece of equipment anymore.

Buy one and let us know how that goes picking up dimes (I'm assuming we're talking about a worthless US dime and not an America Jr Dime)

Buy a new one. Alternatively, pull the disposal out of the sink and get your vice-grips ready.
