Onur at Rocket Rally has 02 WRX heads, machined and ready to install, intake manifold, intercooler, full wiring harness including ECU, sensors except for MAF, for $1500, he's not parting them out tho, all or nothing as far as I know.

If you buy it off him, I'll throw in a new Exedy OEM replacement clutch for the shipping cost from Victoria.

I also have, if you're interested:
Legacy Turbo crossmember ($100)
Rocket Rally up pipe ($150)
Lightweight RS flywheel ($50)
Custom 3" turbo back ($300)
I might still have a spare exhaust manifold, free if I have it.

Remember, I'm on the Island. But the stuff Onur has is in Squamish.

If RS420 needs anything from you, arrange between us cause ill either be coming to the island or having someone go over to trade with you.

And mine is the stock catted uppipe, and you can have it.

the sti pump ill let go for 35 what I paid, and the BCS you can have as well when it comes out, if you need it.

that legacy turbo crossmember is the one i dont need to shim, is that right? or what year is it out of?
I have a 3" downpipe and 3" all custom stainless already done for when the swap is in. so Im ok on exhaust, just need the manifold and up pipe.

the exedy oem clutch is for the rs? thats the clutch assy i need.

i was at rocket on monday, im guessing those were the heads i saw + he was talkin about.

-Drakar, you getting some stuff from splinter on the island? or you sending someone over to meet him to swap/buy parts? if so when might you be doing that?

i do have friends on the island who works in duncan, so i can always get him to pick up parts if i do buy stuff off you splinter, so depending on the crossmember fitment etc...

Crossmember is off a 92 Legacy Turbo, I'm not clear on the fitment for a Post-02, but I know GD crossmembers fit on a 92 Legacy, except for different swaybar mounts.

And yea, thats what the clutch is from.

I was under the impression (more research required) but most GC guys swapped in the Turbo leggy xmember so they didn't have to shim the control arms cause the GD's are alittle wider.

He has a GD, by the looks of his sig.

AFAIK the difference isn't GC/GD, but WRX/RS

i know the shims are just washers, but a wrx cross member i have to "shim". certain model legacy's, the cross member bolts right up. I dont know if the legacy ones that dont bolt up, can be shimmed as well, or just dont fit at all. if it can be just shimmed if it doesnt bolt up, then i will take it regardless

Well people install newer WRX crossmembers in RSs, so so the opposite must be possible.

I don't know about the opposite, I do know they install 02+ into GC/GM's, but I think they shim the control arms cause they aren't as wide as the 02+ control arms or they use 02+ wagon arms as they are the same track but fit in the Xmember without shims.

This thread talks about the shimming of A-arms when in relation to a GC and WRX swap.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...shimming+a-arm

This thread talks about the BC/BF(BJ) Legacy turbo xmembers as the same as being an exact fit for GC's.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...mber+into+a+gc

Im hoping someone who has done this can give the correct answer, but from what I have read, I think if it's a sedan, he should try to find an 02+ xmember, if it's a wagon he can use the leggy member and some GC arms. But front swaybars will be an issue.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=386462
With that out of the way, the choices are pretty limitless. As stated previously, since these are all EJ series engines, they will all bolt into any Forester, Impreza, or Legacy. If the recipient car was an NA car and is receiving a turbo motor from a donor car, then swapping in a turbo crossmember is mandatory to clear the turbo up-pipe. A turbo crossmember from the 1990-1994 Legacy is a direct
swap into the old-age Imprezas. A turbo crossmember from a USDM WRX will require shims between the front control arm front bushing and the crossmember. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=351399
I still havent found the information to know if the older crossmember also works, so Im still trying to figure that out.
thanks for all the help guys, Im going to have a big thankyou list when the job is done!!
