Lightbulb

I have the defi pod, so i wired them to the clock harness.

Red wire -> Blue/ red wire
Black wire -> Black
white ->
Orange ->

I dont remember those two its been a while but knowing which wire goes to the blue/red should make everything else self expalnitory.

Post back if you cant figure it out ill got pop the pod out and look.

Behind the radio is a plug that is not plugged into anything. It has a purple wire and an orange wire with white stripe. If you connect your positive to the purple, and your negative to the orange. You will have a guage that lights up when you turn your lights on. Plus it will dim with the rest of your dash.

Um, I used the illumination wire from that plug to power my Apex boost gauge. It lights up all the way when the parking lights are on. It does not dim at all. I hope this helps someone.

EGT Question..

I posted on another thread but I figured I'd pull this one back outta the closet...

I have a Greddy EGT guage that I got from Ebay and installed last night. I finally got my car out today to test it and it don't work!

I though the 5 wires should be hooked up like this:

Red - power constant
White - power dimmer
Black - Ground
Yellow - Probe wire
Orange - Probe wire

Please correct me if I'm wrong on this!

When I turn the car on should the needle jump or anything to tell me it's on?

There is a light in the middle that says check under it, and it's lit up orange... what does this mean?

I don't know if this will help but it's worth a gander.

From the Greddy instruction manual, here you go:

Red - 12V power line (+)
Orange - Ignition line (+)
White - Parking light source (+)
Black - Ground (-)

There's no yellow wire in my gauge or mentioned in their manual.

Edit: My gauge is 52mm, yours may be a 60mm with peak/hold, which might explain the extra wire.

Yep.. these are not the correct directions for my guage. My guage is 60mm.

I have 5 wires, and I'm sure the Orange and Yellow are for the probe, because it had plugs on the end that matched up to the plugs on the probe itself.
