sounds intriguing...but how exactly do you even do it?

Basically, I may be interested, but I'd probably wet my pants more than once if we did, in fact, see any.

Edit: Forgot to mention, there are plenty of haunted houses up here...but roads? I dunno...

Also, I hope I'm reading this right, cause I would feel like a real $h!t if I'm not

dude, I thought I was the only one!!!
I do that all the time, my friends actually take me along as "ghost bait" because I see them alot!
A friend of mine is doing a documentary on ghosts / haunted place in New England this summer, so if you wanna get in on that I'm sure it would be cool.
There's also a supernatural society / club at UConn that does alot of stuff, I'm just too lazy to look um' up.

There's a TON of places in CT that I've been or have tried to go to namely:
The Benton Homestead in Tolland, CT. A few friends and I saw people walking around in the house (the whole family died of small pox in the 1700's)
There's a park in Tolland CT where a girl was killed and people have shown to have seen her running to them crying (that's some scary **** I don't wanna see)
Union Graveyard, The place where the "white lady is" I've seen videos about her made by the Warrens, it's really scary stuff, I'm afraid to drive by that place.
Aside from that there's a place where I saw puffs of dust in the shapes of foot prints coming at me in my headlights as I was stopped at a rock Quarry and was taking a piss... that wasn't a fun night
I have a bunch of other places, but 2 posts in a row is a bit much..

sounds like fun, there's a place that used to be a mental institution that burned down (think house on haunted hill) too bad it's locked down tight, tis too bad really, hear there's still shackles and blood on the walls- drove a friend out there last night and he said he was having nightmares,

oh well, sounds cool though- I'm up for just about anything

Jim,
you can't go to Danvers State Mental. It is guarded by state police 24/7, I know my friends have tried many a time to get in. We got it once years ago before they where so protective, it's the scariest place ever. Picture a whole college campus abandon, knowing that everyone that went there was crazy often tortured, castrated, and buried off to the side somewhere if they died during and experiment. We went into a few rooms with chains on the walls. But now it's just to hard to get in.

I got one for you. Scituate reservoir, Scituate RI. There's this old late 1800's early 1900's riding club and several houses... Part of a town that was seized to create the reservoir. All guilded and ornate, huge barn etc. The only thing is that I drove my car up there once, there were military vehicles so I turned around and got followed by a chevy blazer with US Government plates for about 15 miles. Scared the crap out of me! There are no power lines leading into the place but people always claim to see lights in some of the houses...
What could be better? Ghosts, government conspiracy, and before you go read "The colour out of space" by H.P. Lovecraft. This is the reservoir that he spoke about covering the well. The town was abandoned in the early 1900's.
Cheers!

Josh, I've been to Danvers St. once, but we didn't go beyond the gates. It's a creepy site...especially the fog in those fields nearby. Yeah, where did they bury people? Heh, pretty obvious.

Hammond Castle?!? Dude I went there on a field trip in like the third grade. I think we all probably did.

I dunno... Ghost hunting? *shivers* I'm a big believer in the "paranormal," but I'm also a believer in clean drawers.

I drive by Hammond castle all the time...doesn't look haunted to me...

You know what would be great, though? Misery Island off the coast of Beverly. We can take Mike's boat there!

Yeah, there used to be a casino there way back when, and it bunrt down. That's got to be good for something

Im in!
Actually, my basement could be a nice endeavor for us. I live in an old ass building. It was a Catholic school until about 20 years ago or so. And before that it was a holding jail for the nearby courthouse. There are still jail cells in our basement! Place has got to be haunted.
