Default Carbon engine pieces

Hey guys,
I saw these on Ebay, and although I missed the auction, I contacted the seller, and he is willing to sell them directly. I have to order 5 sets of them to get the discount, and was wondering if anyone mihgt be interested. I should be able to get them for under $130.00 shipped if enough people are interested.

These are the alternator cover, and the cover the goes over the Headlight relays and such. Any questions let me know.

Kris

I'm thinking about going with the carbon hood.

No painting, blue carbon weave.

The carbon weave material is colored. I've seen it in yellow, red, blue and others.

I wonder if it is pure carbon or a mix.. yeesh...now I wanna find out if they actaully dye the carbon or just mix a color in with it....

sigh

RawCode

edit: Ahh.. I see that they have a carbon Kevlar weave! It is not a pure carbon setup. They color the kevlar and it can be made in different colors, but not the carbon as well, it is carbon!

I am the learned!

Yes, I think it is mainly a cosmetic upgrade. I will ask and see if he will be doing any colors in the near future.

Heheh

Also Is a Carbon-Kevlar weave would be weaker than a pure carbon?

I have read that with a Nomex backed, with 4 layers of CF is stonger than your AL hoods. You can puch down in the center of a CF hood it won't even move. Try that with an AL hood and you'll get a nice big dent.

The weave alot makes a huge difference in strength of the hood...

He said he could make color but had no plans as there was no demand for them as of yet.
