Your civic can handle snow with good winter tires if it's not lowered and/or has ground effects.

What kind of transmission does this impreza have? If it's a stock five speed, can you afford blowing the thing which will happen more then likely.

Have a Nice Day?

heres whats up with the civic:
a] ****ty tires
b] ground effects
c] lowered
it takes me an hour and a half to get an oil change cause its so hard to get on a lift and it sucks in the snow
but hey i went and say the suby it was pretty nice engine wise faster than a wrx at least interior was alright needs a paint job and very small about of body work but i can get the hook up my dads friend does nasty paint jobs so thats like a grand and i can get the body and paint done with quality work
he said 4500 would be no problem as soon as i mentioned it so he probably will go lower car ran great no problem shifting or anything

why would the engine blow?
hes running the stock ecu so hes only doing like 8 or 9 boost i think
his dad owns a performance parts store and hes in college for engineering so it was well maintained
but problems with the car were:
  1. rust on one break because its been sitting (is this a big deal it should come off right)
  2. no catalytic converter anyone know the price
  3. fenders need shape up
  4. bumper is missing hardware on one side
  5. trunk doesnt line up perfectly even but its not that bad

he meant transmission, not engine, the tranny's aren't made of toilet paper like most people on here think, but they are still pretty weak when it comes to handling a lot more horsepower than they were intended for

so i talked to the guy again and yeah its the stock transmission so 212k on it but he said he never beat on it and neither did the guy before him but who knows i mean it might go for a while it might die anyday but if i got it for four grand thats a decent deal right and it should last me through college if i get a new transmission sooner or later
