Default Fuel pump for 98 Legacy


hope the link works, is that what our fuel pump looks like? I am sick of my car taking so long to start, I'm sure it's tired are all these years time for an upgrade.

Can also be starter.

My starter is on it's way out, I can feel it. Guess I'm going to do preventative on the starting system soon.

if you are having problems because it takes the fuel pump too long to prime, then it could be a fuel pump issue or it could be a clogged fuel filter.

if either were really bad, you would be having power delivery issues along with the starting difficulty.

it could also be old spark plugs, or the starter (as kirby pointed out)

it is cheaper and easier to replace the filter and plugs than to replace the fuel pump. try those first.
