Default Opinion on buying a '12 STI hatch

I'm looking at buying a '12 STI Hatch, and I wanted to get some people's opinion on a few aspects of the car and what I should look for.

This car has about 49K miles on it (high-ish), and it looks mostly stock except for an aftermarket pioneer stereo. Not sure what the original sound system was like. They want over $29K for it.

I drove it around a little bit, but it turns out it had a nail in a tire and that cut the test drive short. That being said, I'm not familiar with all the various transmission/diff controls of the STi, so I could use some advice on what you think I should try out in an extended test drive - not only because they are cool features but to look for something that is not working.

There is quite a bit of ice and snow on the roads in my area right now, so it's a great way to test out various drive train features.

The dealer said they could let me look at the undercarriage of the car up on one of their lifts. Is there anything in particular (common problems, etc) that I should look for underneath?

Thanks in advance for your help

FYI: I'm not a new nasioc member just for this post! I have an old bugeye that i'm getting ready to sell...
