Interior: Bucket seats, my current JDM ones are perfect, but some Kevlar CF would weight half of them. So that would be the reasoning to that. Also a Sparco Harness bar along with a roll cage. And a QR steering wheel.
Stiffening/Handling: Sway bars. All mounts replaced. And a few other things I am blanking on.

Story: it's only my 3rd vehicle I've ever owned and I've been modding on it over the last 7 years. It's never done me wrong and never left me hangin (knock on wood). After 7 years and over 90,000 miles, can you believe I'm still on the STOCK clutch and transmission? For years it was my mobile DJ vehicle, I could stuff an entire setup in there: 2 speakers, 2 speaker stands, amp, dual CD players, mixer, lights, cords, CD's...I'd load it down! I've wrecked it twice and each time I had the bodyshop shave somthing OFF the car, first was antenna, then trunk keyhole, then dogleg moudings, then I banged up the front so we shaved those marker lights from front fenders. I think this really gives the car a super smooth look, I've been wanting to do the doorhandles but never got around to it, that's a bit more involved. anywho, after moving from Tallahassee to Tampa 2 years ago, I earned a sponsorship from Aquamist UK, and since then I sorta went nuts on it so to speak.. the subaru scene down here in Tampa was much better, so buying and selling used parts was easy to do with the locals. With anything, I've always tried to stay within budget so all the mods were DIY (except for the paintjob and bodywork, thanks allstate!) and most of the bolt-ons were either used, sponsored, or I got a killer deal.
I don't really like to enter it into carshows...I hate to have to pay to "show" the car but, I did enter TWO shows and got 1st place at one, 2nd at the next (lost to caesar!)
I'll keep developing the story it's gonna take me a while, I've had this thing 7 years!

Even though I'm new to Suby's i'm no stranger to the tuner market or the performance of STi's in general. I spent 4 years working at 2 of the northwest's premier shops, Fastlane2 and Axiom Motorsports. During this time I was mostly infatuated with RWD and drifting, I owned several 240sx's and one 350z :
It was a great time, and it allowed me to build up good relationships with companies such as JIC. However, I would be envious of some customer and our own shop cars(390whp EVO IX stock turbo pump gas and 400whp 30R STi pump gas) who could put down great HP numbers on our dyno with stock block and be able to transfer it to the ground fully.
I took about a year off from the "scene," driving around a 01 Lexus GS300, but even then I ended up getting JIC coils and a full Titanium exhaust..
Once I moved back to the east coast, I began to look around more seriously again at STi's and evo's. I finally decided an 08 base model would be perfect for me, since i intended on changing the wheels and suspension shortly anyways.
I intend on using the car at Redline Time attacks, hopefully even at summit point and VIR this year. Also I hope to hit the dragstrip too once the temps go down a little bit.

Back story -
Ok, so I didn't build it, I'll put that out right up front for the haters...
I travailed to NJ from MI, September of last year to get the car an road trip home. This was a GREAT trip, I got to meet all sorts of NJ guys (Thanks aaronnn for helping me out while I was out there) I got to hit up 2 different Subaru meets, both included the Dunkin Rally Team (Dunking Donuts sponsored) I got to take the car to the Extreme Rides car show in Newark NJ, where I pulled "Best Subaru" AND I got to see the ocean...!!!
So far mods have been mostly interior, I've since removed the front half of the Autopower cage for safety reasons...I'm currently working on the competition level sound system, yeah I know guys, I'm "supposed" to be removing weight (adding close to 200lbs of sound deadener), but the car is fast enough and I want a full on show car... I just wish I still had A/C... lol.. I'm slowly re-installing the interior, the car was COMPLETELY stripped (see pics) I'm trying to mix race with sound...
I also got the TE37's from a member here, they were rather thrashed (if I had more than 10 pics, I could show them, not good, but CHEAP) So I had to re-finish the centers, and I added the red lip... Who's seen Time Attack BLUE for crap sake...lol... I also added my Whieline adjustable RSB and solid end links that came over from my old 99' RS...
The car has been to a few shows now and is very well received, even though some don't care for the wheels, most love it...
Hopefully I'll complete the audio and interior here in the next month or so and then I'll be quite close to "done" barring things like a BBK and STi swap..

It seems like I am never done modding. It is sometimes something small, like a turbo timer, or sometimes something much bigger, like a turbo back exhaust. I bought the car thinking that it would just be a nice, quick daily driver, but I have really taken it in a different direction. It gets driven on the track, and is never let to sit for more than a day. I recently have been thinking that I want to take it further and push the limits of it to the max, but still retain its usability on a day to day basis. Either way, the mod bug has bitten me and won't let go.

The details count is my opinion, which is why I stick to OEM and JDM parts when it comes to the exterior. Car is washed twice a week, waxed every month, clayed 4 times a year, and polished once a year (Autopian). -Where to start… I purchased the car in August of 2003, right when I got out of the Navy. I put a deposit down in July of 2003 to get the 2nd WRB STi allotted to my local dealer, to be picked up in October. This was after much hustling to my wife as to how it would be a much better family car compared to my prelude, and that I would not modify it since it had everything I could ever want in a car, in stock form LOL Then, lucky for me, they got it in early and I had the money ready. I traded in my beloved 5th gen prelude and have never looked back.
The first day I drove her home was crazy. I had been into cars for awhile, but my 01 prelude was my first modified car. It had basic in’s and outs, coilovers, rims, etc…. but the ‘lude was no comparison. Even stock this car blew me away. Another benefit (or hassle depending on how you look at it) to having this car when it was so new, was the attention. I was getting thumb ups from everyone on the road, people would stop in the middle of an intersection and stare, follow me in a parking lot to come ask me questions, ask me 2310987 questions every time I got gas… it was nuts. Then came the mods I wasn’t supposed to do….
The day I brought her home I installed speakers and a crappy alpine HU (04’s did not come with stereos or speakers). This was about the time I really started getting on NASIOC and IWSTI instead of just lurking. I did the typical new to suby crap , blitz intake and hks ssqv LOL then purchased a set of Tanabe gf210’s. I knew a little bit about cars but not too much then. I couldn’t figure out how to get to the rear top hats for awhile lucky for me MAIC kicked some major ass back then and I got hooked up at one of the many install days at Dunk’s house. I learned a lot from those guys and continued on my own, to the point I was the top student in my Wyotech class and became a suby tech for about a year. Between the MAIC crew, NASIOC (used to be helpful and not so hateful on here), my master tech brother in law (who got me into imports in the first place) I picked up quiet a bit….anyway next up where the other typical mods, downpipe and hks hi power. WOW what a difference. But I found out what boost creep was back then the hard way, and dear god I had it bad LOL I rolled around shootin flames for awhile until I stopped being a douche and found out how lucky I was I didn’t blow my engine… there’s a lot more in between here, but you don’t need my whole life story hahahaha…
I moved to CA not too long after buying the car. I also started to get into some financial hardship ,and got to where I needed to sell the car. I actually put it up for sale several times, and never had one person interested. Luckily I made thru that , reenlisted in the navy and was able to keep the car, along with get back on my feet (I’m in process of buying a home again ) My wife got over my modding to a degree and some what understands my hobby/passion for this .
My goal is to build the ultimate DD that can hold it’s own at the drag strip, auto –X and road course if I ever make it out to a track day. And if I feel like it, stunt with the ballers at a car show. I am coming near complete with the car. All I want to do from here are get some seats, upgrade the turbo finally and maybe repaint it. Plus some other little jdm goodies here and there. Further down the line, I’ll get a built block and prob have to rebuild the tranny as the 04’s have ****ty synchros in 4-6, and I get a grind every so often no matter what I do…

I haven't yet come up with a name for her, so I just call her sweetie.
I am not but a humble 17 year old lad in a rural town in Pennsylvania. I found my baby going up for auction at Mason Dixon Auto Auction where I work driving cars through the block every tuesday night. It was love at first sight. Given that I am an employee there, I have much more freedoms then the standard mob. I took hours going over her and found her to be a gem. Now that's she's mine, she's my daily driver and I can honestly say I look for excuses to drive her.
The person who owned her before put Whiteline Strut tower mounts, and exhaust that needed replaced badly, a CAI, and some wheel/tires off of a legacy wagon I believe. I'm still in my Highschool days so funds are a little low, but I was able to get her in top condition with what I had. New tires, exhaust, new battery, new coilpack, new plug/wires, an oil change, and a set of hella 500's got her to where she stands today.
Along with that I have done my best with the rims with a new spray job. Since paint is cheap, I went with some other little accent pieces to really set it off. I sprayed the Headlight trim semi-gloss black and the same with the vents under the turn signals.
I love driving this car as I've stated before. I take her on the back roads and run her fairly spiritedly trying to get a better feel for her, I'll take her in the dirt, and recently, when I went to get my exhaust (07 wrx catback) from wrxSIN in frederick, I became hooked on auto-x and can't wait to get into it. Eventually I would like to take her out on a real track and see how she does.
My overall direction for this car was to keep it clean. In the future there will be coilovers and swaybars, some borla uel headers, and some rota tarmac 2's. Eventually I will be swapping in a STI engine as well as a 6-speed tranny.

Ok, I’ll have at it.
I began my car fascination at an early age. And when I was 16 I was old enough to purchase my first car. It was a 92 eclipse GST. I did my research and began my modding. The car was great, fast in the straights sloppy in the corners, and the most unreliable piece of junk I had ever driven.
But it spurred my interest, I took all of the bad things that happened with the car in stride and began to fix them on my own account. As well, I didn’t have the money to take it anywheres and the rents certainly weren’t going to help with my newly found piece of ****. The car was great, I had it for around 6 months and then it had catastrophic engine failure and I pawned it off on some other kid.
I had had enough interest in cars to the effect that I would try my hand at another approach. I wanted a car that I could rely on, a car that was functional and one that would be fun to mod and just drive. I decided on a Volkswagen. Why I don’t know, I didn’t want to deal with the turbo drama any longer and wanted to try my hand at the N/A game. I decided on a ’03 Mark IV GTI, it was well luxurious compare to the old mitsu. It had leather seats, climate control, the works. It was just an awesome automobile aside from the squeaks, and other German wiring misengineering. I modded this car with a few details, KW v3 which I basically stole for the cost I got them at. Neuspeed sways and a few other things that sparked my interest in autocrossing. This car became my autocross car, although heavy and basically stock motor wise aside from a GHL exhaust and a Neuspeed intake, it was fun. It wasn’t as quick as my competition but it wasn’t a dog either.
Unfortunately for me, I decided to take my track antics on the road, and it ended up rolling the car three and half times. Ok lesson learned! My fault, a one-car accident on a deserted highway on ramp. Luckily no one was hurt other then my pride. Thus providing me with my search. I began my search with a few prospects, S13s, e30s, b13 sentras pretty much anything that sparked my interest over the past car modding years and had seen do well on the track.
That is until one day I spotted my dream car, the car I had wanted since the day I began this car fascination. Why I had never looked for one was beyond my comprehension. But I remember to this day the “Motor Week” that swayed my decision and sparked my interest. I had just turned 18 and was high on an insurance check from my previous accident. In fact I had actually made money on the car. There it was a ’01 BRP 2.5RS. It was love at first site. The big fogs, hood scoop and a trunk were all things that I had never had before. I went in signed the papers and was driving it the next day. No test-drive no nothing. It was a car I had to have. This was ’05 and my first year at college. Mods were very slow as I spent most of my time at school and didn’t work much other then to pay for alcohol. I became very interested in Rallycross. Attended a few events although never actually entered. Installed some STI flaps, and a set of PIAA 40 lights as well as Hella 500s. Although the car looked mean. It wasn’t what I necessarily wanted for the car. As well I had previously fallen in love with the racetrack. I quickly began to disassemble all aspects of the car. Put the side skirts back on, removed the flaps and the fogs were removed in place of a set of fog covers.
The car was slowly moving forward; I attempted my first auto-x and entered as a stock car. The car was a blast, virtually no under steer; the rear end just seemed to slide around corners. It was a blast and continued to reaffirm my love for the car. Upon that trip, I began ordering my suspension components. They began with AGX struts with H&R springs, and Group N top hats. The setup was amazing, stiff, low and well comfortable when the struts were dialed in correctly. I also opted to go with white line sways as well as whiteline strut bars and HD whiteline sway bar mounts. This changed the complete charteristics of the car; in fact it was well like driving a large go-kart.
With the suspension taken care of, I began to move toward the braking aspects. I picked up a set of 4 pots for the front and chose to run DBA 4000 rotors. I also went with Goodridge Stainless steel lines. The car was great for a while but on the track it tended to lift a bit in the rear. This made the car extremely difficult to brake late in the corner and come out quick, so I opted to pick up a set of rear 2 pots. I fitted them with the same DBA rotors and Kartboy brackets to keep everything buttoned up. They also received the stainless lines. But back up front the car also received the JDM fender liners with Brake ducts. Although results were negligible the fact of having them was great.
Moving on, now that most of the important aspects were taken care of, I slowly began to mod the exterior. It began with a simple V6 setup including the front lip, rear spats and a JDM bumper to bring everything together. But this became old as well everyone one and their mother had this setup. I switched to a Seibon C-West lip and had everything else painted. It looked awesome. In fact it was something that I hadn’t seen recently and wasn’t on everyone else’s GC. The car stood out. But there was something else missing. Wheels. What was different and wasn’t played out. I was lucky. I scored a very rare set, in fact I haven’t seen another set stateside yet. Prova Technocast 16x7.5 with a +48 offset. Were the wheels of choice. But would the clear the brakes. Just barley!
Ok so I went over most of the cars history except for the motor aspect. Which has been well a cluster**** these past couple of months. The original 2.5 motor was boosted with a homebrew turbo kit. Supporting a T3-T4 as well as custom up and down pipes that managed to work the N/A exhaust manifold. They only thing that was removed was the cruise control. It was run with a PP6 and supported only mild boost of 5-6psi. It was great boost in power but I was tired of constantly babying the car, afraid that something was going to break. The turbo kit was removed and less then 8,000 miles later the motor spun a bearing. Out with the old and in with the new, I installed another ’01 motor along with a new Exedy stage 2 clutch. It was great in fact it was better then great. The car was peppier and it was something I wasn’t necessarily used to have a good motor under my foot again. Recently the HG went so I replaced them along with ported the heads, IM and TB. I also installed a set of cams, which have greatly improved top end performance.
As for the interior, it was well also not overlooked; in fact JDM ver. 3-4 seats were installed front and rear along with a v7 JDM momo wheel and Knob. The factory stereo was also ditched in favor of a Panasonic head unit, Focal Components up front, and Infinity components in the rear. As for the bump, the trunk supports a 12inch JL W3-v3. All powered by two JL amps.
Ok so I think that pretty much takes care of my story. I know I have forgotten lots but I think this pretty much covers most of it.
Now at the age of 20, my next step is a swap!! Maybe by the end of the year for my 21st birthday…..

Welp, Bought the car in December of 2001 with the intention of beating the crap out of it. I needed an awd car and after having a DSM I realized that a Subaru was gonna have to be the one.
I started off with the basic mods that everyone did at the time... ya know. Sweet short shifter, some lowing springs...Pipercross intake (old schoolers remember those)
After a few years the car continued to grow and change kinda like a baby.
Now she's all grown up and has adult teeth.
I never intended the car to be a show car. Nor to be a track bitch. I just wanted my car to reflect what Im about and what my company can do. It has not seen the track in 2 years, and has not been on a road course yet. This is the year where I will find out how she really does.

I bought this car in August of 2007, previously owned a 2005 wrx A/T. I stared this car only wanting to go stage 2 and not do anything else (like everybody does ) And now it has revolved into this. I am 19 and basically put all my money into this car, as well as a couple other things. I at first wanted to make this car a fast street car/drag car. I decided that its not a honda, so its not worth it. Where to begin....
Since a young age, I've always had a passion for cars. Loved everything about them, but the current DD has been my first real money pit! It all started January of 2006 when I took delivery of her. I knew I had several things to address. I was unhappy with the power, the handling, the comfort, and many other things. I almost started to wonder why I had even chosen to finance this car.
Things very very soon became clear. I wanted a fun car that I could drive everyday to school, work, grocery shopping and whatever the case may be. I also wanted a car that would haul ass at a roadcourse event and a drag strip as well. Over the last 2+ years, there have been many changes and progressions to what my car has become. Before I even took delivery, I had already ordered prodrive springs from Z1 and found a set of 04 BBS takeoffs. Little did I know, my mods wouldnt even come close to stopping there...Dissatisfied with many aspects of the car's characteristics, I have been through several swaybar setups, coilover setups, rim and tire setups, brake setups, etc. It is truly a never ending passion that I can try my hardest to stop...knowing full well I can't.

Ok, My car isnt complete at all. I still have a motor swap to ej207 and a 20g planned.
I purchased my 02 wrx new on october 01 at a local dealer after my 3000gt's motor blew. It was a great car out of the box. I used it for drag racing and ran a best of 13.8 with tbe and coilovers, with a 1.7 60ft.
Then in 2003 I deployed to Iraq and put the suby in the garage til summer of 2004. I had been ordering parts online every chance I found a computer, when I got back I had ALOT of parts to install.
Not long after this I blew my first trans, the dealer I was at in Montana would not warranty it so I purchased a Kaaz gear set with the install kit for that dealer to install. I got a call a few days later from them saying that gearset broke... So when I got there they showed me and I knew by the way 3rd gear broke that they didnt used the proper shift slidder that was provided with the kit. Long story short I paid for a new 5mt and never got my Kazz gears back from the dealer., Then in 2005 I went to Iraq again and upon my return I did my reversed manifold and 06 sti hub swap and updated my suspension. This is pretty much the state my car is in now. Car was weighed in at 3046 with a full tank, hopefully below 3000 soon

Alright.....I'll bite. Here's my little project. It's not pretty, it barely puts down 100awhp, it didn't cost much, etc. etc. etc.
BUT, it is the only one like it in the world. There are a handful of guys who've done something similar, but not exactly like it (mostly because it's a wagon). AND, I've done all the work myself.
so, here goes:
It's a '92 Subaru Loyale Wagon. My dad bought it in Florida more than 10 years ago, and it was his faithful daily driver for about 4. until I got my license. at which point, I essentially inherited it. What better first car than the 3AT (kinda like a 4EAT but without the 4th, and without the 'E'), FWD, and a SPFI 1.8l EA82 putting down a whopping 91 bhp.
So, time for a little upgrade. almost exactly 2 years, and 35k miles ago, I started transforming it. swapping in an EJ22e from a '92 Legacy, and a Dual-Range Full-Time 4WD trans and mechanical rear LSD from a Subaru RX.

I came up one spot short in the Top GC, so we'll see how I fair against every model.
It all started back in February of 2003, my senior year of high school. At the time I was driving a Chevy S-10. It was a great truck but I really wanted something that was cool and something I could do things to. On my way to work one day I spotted a white 2 door car sitting near the entrance of the local dealer. It was love at first sight! I really had no idea what it was other then it was a Subaru, had AWD (which was a must because of where I live) and that it looked really, really cool! Later that night I told my parents about it and I told them it would be a good way to start to build my credit and become a responsible adult. (Yeah, Ok) Anyhow, a few days later the car was mine. I really had no big plans for it at first. It was an automatic, and at the time I didnít know how to drive a stick so going fast wasnít a big thing to me. I just wanted a cool looking car with a big stereo like every other high school kid wants, right? The first thing to go on the car was some 18Ē Arospeed rims and Eibach lowering springs. Next were an AEM intake and an eBay special muffler. Man did I think I was big time!
I drove the car like that for about a year or so enjoying every minute of it. Then one day, while surfing the internet, I came across a forum that would change my life. Yep, thatís right once I hopped on NASIOC my eyes were opened to what people were doing to their Subaruís and thatís when I decided to go hog wild with my car. My vision for the car was to make it a good all around car that did everything good, not great in some areas and less in others, just good all around. I started out with the exterior of the car putting on the Carbon Fiber Hood, clear corners, side markers and JDM taillights. Next came the Carbon lip, color matched the side skirts to the car as well as the JDM rear spats. Later on the Carbon trunk was added to help compliment the hood as well as the JDM badging front and rear. The idea of a body kit crossed my mind a few times but I love the looks of the car stock and only wanted to lightly enhance it. Next came time for the interior. I wanted to give the car a JDM/ high performance feel to it. I went with a Momo steering wheel as well as Momo shift knob and Momo e-brake handle. As for the seats I kind of happened to be at the right place at the right time. I was at a local shop placing my order for a set of Sparcoís when the owner came in and noticed what I was buying, he told me he had just purchased an RS off eBay and that it came with some STI seats that he didnít want. I said ok lets have a look; low and behold they were a complete set of Version 3/4 JDM STI seats. Iím not sure he knew what he had and so I bought them right on the spot. Other little do dadís inside include a pair of Autometer gauges, STI pedals, STI floor mats and sitting up where the little storage thingy on the dash used to be is where a Greddy Turbo Timer and Greddy Profec-2 Boost controller sit flush in a custom housing. Later on I had a custom 6-point roll cage built to finish off the high performance feel for the car along with some Sparco 4-point harnesses to keep me securely fastened.
Now onto the under hood additions. I really didnít want to build a super car with 500hp or anything that would be really finicky or unreliable. I just wanted a bit more power then what I had and wanted it to look good at the same time. I entrusted all the work to Idahoís F2uning. The first thing that had to go was the automatic transmission. A 5-speed swap with ACT clutch made its way in. Next was the turbo kit. Instead of having a custom made kit I picked up Forced Air Technologies Stage 3 turbo kit which consisted of a TMIC, Garrett GT30R turbo, and everything else needed to make the car turbo minus a cat back exhaust. Basically however when I got the kit the guys at F2uning decided that a FMIC would look a lot better and work a lot better so they fabed up a custom Spearco core with custom end tanks and all custom made piping. Truly a one off design. One of my most favorite pieces on the car is the Direct-Port nitrous system. I will say that I have not used it yet but as far as a show piece it really looks amazing!
Now came time for the suspension and handling of the car, the most important part of a car in my mind. For suspension I choose to go with Teinís Flex coilovers with EDFC, I know that it was a bit much in the sense that I really donít race the car or push it hard but its there when I need it. For wheels I went with 18 inch Work Emotionís in bronze, I canít say more about how I love the looks of that wheel. With all the power and suspension that I had added to the car I knew I couldnít settle with stock brakes. I hooked the car up with Rotoraís big brake kit on all four wheels. Stopping is not really a problem now.
As you can probably tell already but the car is basically a show/street car, more show then street but I do go for a cruise every now and then when I need a shot of boost in my blood. Many people give me crap about how I never drive my car and that a car was meant to be driven. I totally understand where there coming from but I have a little different take on it. I built the car to show, a show car has to be in perfect condition, the more you drive a car the more wear and tear you will put on the it and more times then not you will not win at shows if your car looks less then perfect. Itís a decision I choose to make and I am happy with the results. I would also like to thank every member of Nasioc for being an inspiration for this build. With out people like you pushing the boundaries of what is possible with these cars, I would have never been able to do what I have. Itís people like you that are the reason for such great cars.

My name is Mark Heinen. There are a lot of beautiful wagons on Nasioc that I personally dont think mine can compete with. However, the story of how the car changed my life is worth telling.
In November of 2006, I had just currently quit my Store manager job at a local furniture store. I was never much on suit and tie jobs, and pushing 30 wasnt helping my state of mind either. I was having some problems with my current car, and on a whim ended up at our local Subaru Dealership
looking around. I was looking at the used Sedans when Josh Thompson, the salesman and now great friend, walked up and we started
talking. He pointed out a little black 06 wagon that was on special, only 10 miles on it. I drove it, then I fell in love. I love the wagons and this just seemed to good to be true. Three hours later it was mine.
Josh had mentioned the local Subaru board here in oklahoma. He said they are all stand up guys and if i needed help, just post up. And I met all these great people.
First of January, the owner of the store i previously worked at gave me a call. He offered me twice what i was making before plus commision.
This was a substantial amount of money, but i had a job interview at a local company here and wanted to see how it went. I told him I would have to sleep on it.
The job interview went great and, with a little faith in God, turned down my previous employer.
January 15th, 2007 was my first day at Deatschwerks.
Since that time, I have been living a dream. I have a great job that I love. Great friends like my tuner Ben West, who I am sure wants to strangle me sometimes.
This month is my 2 year mark at DW, so I am paying tribute to the black wagon that changed my life.

Alright I better jump in this thread and try and steal some of my Hawaiin buddy Brandon's and all the other nice wagons votes. My name is Joe, and I am from the Bay Area Cali. My pride and joy is my 2005 WRX wagon. Why a wagon?? Why not ! ! She was originally purchased as a car I planned on NOT UPGRADING. Originally, she was to be a daily driver because I had a heavily modified CR-X. Slowly she began getting upgraded to what you see now.
I've loved the look of the WRX Wagon since the first time I saw them, and figured why not try and make a nice wagon as my next project. As alot of the Bay Area folks can attest to, this wagon is for the most part a daily driver. I drive her on a daily basis... as is... (yes shes low) and have fun beatin' on her. Although she is tuned and has a ton of upgrades, she has yet to see the track. This car has seen a ton of shows, and although I enjoy doing shows, at some point I would love to get her on the track soon. Any opinions or advice ide love to hear !

Guess I can put mine in, however theres so many killer wagons on here, I'm just happy to be recognized by some of you guys.
Bought the battle wagon new in '04. I wanted an Sti, but with a kiddo, dog, mtn. bikes, snowboards etc. it made more sense to get a wagon. It served it's purpose well until a fellow suby enthusiast convinced me to try out a local HPDE event, and it went downhill(or up?) from there!
2 years after taking delivery, I started doing track events often, as many as 15 a year and there was no slowing me down so it came to a point where the wagon was going to need some serious upgrades, or a switch to an easier to mod sedan...sedan? No way! Wagons FTW.
I chose to stay wagon because It was fun being the only one out there, surrounded by sedans, and being faster! Plus I would always get people coming up and checking the thing out and giving props. It garnered me enough attention that last season, Goodspeed Performance Lab approached me with a sponsorship deal. (BIG thanks to Goodspeed!) They've helped me transform the wagon from quick grocery getter, to pick up, drop off, smash up, chew up and spit out your groceries getter.
I currently run the NASA Time Trial series, in the TTS class and placed 5th in points out of 15(much more powerful) cars for the '08 season. On top of that, I missed half the season with the car getting a makeover! I've also competed in the Super Lap Battle, and for the '09 season I'll be running Super Lap and Redline Time Attacks as often as time and money allow.
At this point the wagon is certainly not done! More power, less weight, brake ducts, more tire and building a real rear wing and front splitter is in the very near future. Thanks to all the wagons here for keeping me inspired!
