Default 205 without sleeves

As of lately I've started to source a shortblock for a mild build. I'm only looking for about 450wtq. Possibly 500, but I'd settle for 450.

Anyway, I'm mainly familiar with Honda setups and noticed that alot of EJ's get sleeved. I understand that the 205's are open deck, but honestly at 450 wtq I shouldn't have to worry about cylinder wall expansion, should I?

I will be running either Aries or CP pistons 8.5-8.75-1 Compression, Pauter rods, and a V7 crank. Heads will have a mild port and polish and 1mm oversized on intake and exhaust, running crower 272's. Version 8 IM rotated with an efficient front mount. I'm debating a stock placement GT3078 turbo... But the turbo will probably be my last decision. All put to the ground through a DCCD 6spd.

In ALL honesty will a sleeved block be $1500 more reliable?! I've been looking for a 22t, and if I find one, I will just use it.

Last, HEAD wise, say I find some V8 BP heads for $1000 more than having my heads worked with 272's and 1mm oversized valves, would V8 heads be worth that extra K?

Basically will the AVCS and flow characteristics be worth that extra money over the worked 205 heads?

This is going to be stretched out over a couple of years, or days depending on how long the Stock 205 lasts....
