They're doing great. Long story short, I put a remote activated shock collar on the dog for a day. It took three times before she realized maybe the cat WASN'T food, and they've been best friends ever since. Seriously, it was that easy. We're to the point where we no longer need to separate the two while we're out of the house, and they sleep on the same bed cuddle up to one another and sleep all day.

I'll take pictures / video for the cuteness factor.
I need to try this.

I had a cat. Gf moved in and had a dog (papillon) Dog chased cat all over the house. Cat was not happy. Got another dog. Now papillon basiccally ignores cat, but new dog (australian cattle dog) is OBSESSED with cat. I have thought about putting them both in a room with me and let them fight it out. However cat has no claws, and I think dog thinks cat is food.

I have 2 dogs and a cat they all get along fine.

I had black lab, and a cat. When I brought the cat home the dog really didn't care about the car at all, there never was a problem. Then I met my wife she had a golden and 2 cats. I lived in the country and my cat got poisoned and died. Wife/girlfriend moved in with her dog and 2 cats. 1 cat died from being old.

Still no problems. They sleep together on the floor in our room in fact our cat sucks on the dogs face. I think it's sick, my wife thinks it's funny you can decide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkvbF9sKFUc
