Default P&L Motorsports Prepped, Takata Time Attack Car. 1st in class on debut showing!

We're EXTREMELY excited about James Elterman's new Takata sponsored Time Attack car.

We were on hand this weekend to help in doing it's shake downs and in typical form, James completely dominated his class!

http://www.redlinetimeattack.com/doc...nalResults.pdf <-- James posted a best lap of 1:06.6. Almost a full 3 seconds faster from his closest competitor!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Gh1h0Xr7jA <-- A short YouTube video of this SICK SICK SICK car!

Tuning is SUPER conservative at 16PSI on 93 and 20 PSI on race gas. We know the stock motor will eventually die, so we're just taking it nice and easy for now. If the motor last through the season, GREAT!

James' car runs in the AWD Modified class. So this is a fully stock engined 2004 running:

P&L Motorsports 1000CC Racing Injector kit
P&L Motorsports Fuel rail and regulator setup
P&L Motorsports Race Series Exhaust
P&L Motorsports GT3076R Turbo Kit
P&L Motorsports reverse manifold FMIC kit
AP v2

Enjoy some of the pictures below!

Congratulations again to James for his spectacular performance!

-Jorge

Soon! The fact that James' is yet to break this one is a great start! But we still have some things we need to polish up on the kit for it to meet our very strict requirements for you guys.

Honestly, I don't know off the top of my head. If Ty, or someone else knows, I'll have them post up the answer here.

The hood still closes fine with the intercooler piping above the intake manifold?

That HDR shot needs some work it hurts my eyes

It clears fine. I asked about that on another forum and they say they run all of their piping like that and never have issues.

What he said.

We've had zero issues with either stock or aftermarket hoods (Seibon, etc).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzfFiNEtkdQ <--- OOOOH, James finally put up his in car video!

If I got my gearing right, it sounds like he's already at the top of fifth at the end of the back straight on his second lap!
