Default shop recommendations for steering rack install?

I've e-mailed Joe @ goodspeedperformance regarding an install of a quickrack and I believe he's fully capable, but I'd also like SWIC's advice for a quality shop that will not bork this install.

I'd normally do this kind of work myself but recent surgery recovery prevents it.

I'm highly concerned that proper install procedures are followed and the rack is handled with extreme care so it doesn't leak in the future.

I've had DC do a little work in years past and was satisfied, but that was before their employee shakeup.

Recommendations? TIA!

I dont see why you wouldn't go to Goodspeed if you already have some type of relationship with them.

Ive got nothing but good things to say about Joe and Jon...

Where do you live? There are good shops on each side of the valley...

Why is DynoComp a joke? I have never ever had a bad experience there, Rich knows me by name and takes time to talk to me, and I never have an issue with them, I only trust DynoComp and Robert at FAT to tinker with my car.

Goodspeed's doing the deed. Seem to be well regarded and their shop certainly was full of subys.

Rack's in.
wow.

This is what the STi should have come like from the factory. Well, perhaps not 11.5:1, but at least something as quick as the current Evo's 13.3:1 or IX's 13:1.

At 11.5:1 it feels like driving a GT3. Very connected, but not twitchy or difficult to drive. You need to pay attention, but steering inputs aren't constently needed, and tramlining is no worse than before.

Too bad the next autox is a month away, and I've given up doing track days (for now at least). Oh well, it's still very enjoyable on the street.

I'm very pleased with Goodspeed and recommend them based on the quality install they did, along with a great alignment and gauge fix.
