Default 06/07 wrx clutch into gc rs

I know GC NA clutches were push style, and then the turbo cars went to pull style. iv heard that the 06/07 wrx went back to push, so my question is can i use a 06 or 07 wrx clutch with a 99 rs trany?

You MIGHT be able to. The pivot location changed in the newer transmissions, but the last old-style trans we have had (a 97 outback and a 98 Forester) both had bosses for two clutch pin locations. So, if the planets align and the world is indeed round, you should be able to use the new-style clutch fork, move your pivot to the new location, and use the 06/07 push type clutch.

But you'd have to try it to find out for sure.
