Default swap issue

hey all i just finished up my swap (03 ej20 in 98L) and i have been attemping to start it for the past hour or so and it won't stay running. It fires for second and then stops. The fuel pump primes and main relay clicks, my OBD scanner only pulls like 4 codes that are TGV related (i have them deleted) so there's nothing much there. I am waiting for a friend to come over with a fresh mind and a fuel pressure guage. I am running out of ideas on what could be the cause. I resued my camshaft sensor from my 2.2l engine is that an issue? Anyone have any ideas on other things i should check?

I would start by using the right cam shaft sensors, was the motor already assembled? Did you check timing marks make sure they all line up correctly? any other parts reused from the 2.2? Do you have the correct crankshaft sprocket ? Any other codes besides the tgv's ?

well the engine was assembled but I dissassembled it and put new gaskets/seals along with a new timing belt and i lined up all the timing marks and all the sprokets were lined up perfectly. the only thing i used from the 2.2 was the A/C pump, misc nuts and bolts and the camshaft sensor. Only codes i got were TGV related P1086, P1088, P1094, P1096.

OK she runs now! Not sure what it was exactly, but i think it just had alot of air in the fuel system or it could have been the MAF since i pulled it out and cleaned it and after that she started right up. I only have a downpipe on now so it's loud! exhaust should arrive this week and will get this baby on the road!
