Default OS Speed Density in LGT

is there anybody on here that is capable of doing the Freon map conversion or has done it and it is willing to do it to my LGT map. I don't quite have the confidence, but would like to be able to run speed density. For quite some time I've been restricted by the MAF voltage for my GT3082, and I'm tired of continuing to change my IC piping/MAF housing size to accommodate more boost. My tuner is comfortable with SD, I just don't have the money right now to go Hydra after putting a 6sp swap in. Thanks in advance!

Matt

That is not the type of work that some Joe Blow with a hex editor is going to be able to do. You would have to have intimate knowledge of the Subaru ECUs and dissassembly. Which means that rules out 99.9999% of the members on Nasioc. I can think of maybe 2 other people, other than obviously Freon, that would know enough to potentially be able to do it.

Personally, I wouldn't want to mess with someone else's work. They put all the work into it, it just doesn't seem right to borrow it and adapt it to something else. Even if they didn't mind, it still becomes a slippery slope as then everyone wants the same thing done for their particular ECU - you still have to modify and adapt it for each separate rom revision and create separate ecu definitions. And this is a much more involved hack that say, launch control. I don't blame Freon for sticking to a few model years.

i don't disagree with what you say above, i've asked the one other person and they didn't want to because they didn't want to accept money to do the patch, but didn't have the time to do it for free (semi-ironic ) but anyway, I understand it is involved, which is the reason that I'm not willing to go out on the limb and do it myself yet.

Freon never responded to me on any of the sites I've PM'd him from about the modification though, thats why I was seeking alternate help.

Are there any aftermarket devices that will emulate a MAF signal based on RPM, MAP, and a VE table? Seems like a fairly straightforward project for someone who is good with microcontrollers.

why not go UTEC? UTEC plus a factory reflash is powerful combination.

map switching and because my tuner has uninstalled just as many if not more UTECs than he's tuned, which isn't a problem, I've seen how power the OS stuff is, I've been running it for over a year at over 400whp, just looking for that extra something now i guess, aren't we all

I've heard that turbo-converted NA cars have driveability issues...

Thanks for the tip though.

I'm right here. If you have a question about SD post it on the FAQ thread on RomRaider.
