Default Just flashed to XPT Tuning Stage 2 Map

I've been running the free "Bullwinkle's" stage 2 map for about 5-6k miles and decided to purchase the XPT tuning stage 2 map for my car.

Just wanted to say that it was a pretty awesome upgrade! Much much smoother (due to a different throttle mapping) especially starting off in 1st gear (such as when driving off from a stand still (i.e. stop light)). I realized how much effort it used to take to keep the car smooth through the shifts, but now it's relatively effortless.

Highly recommended.

*edited to hopefully clear things up

Um... huh? That sounds like you're describing shifter bushings or something... tune?

(but congrats on the smoother car, wherever that smoothness is, its always a good thing! )

Oh, i was talking about open source engine management maps for stage 2... a cheaper alternative to an Access Port or pro tune.

Yea... that. Maybe I should just leave it as "it feels smoother, period." Guess it must be pretty bad when i confuse you Subaru Gurus and Specialists.

those classifications are based on post numbers I think. I know some people who are gurus who spend all their time in OT and some folks who have been here forever and know tons who are just lonely specialists.

But yeah, smoother is better and the when one gets a tune that smooths out the power delivery or you do a mod like bushings that make things smoother it is always something to rave about.
