Default Question on cyl Sleeving

Hi i had my block built 257 je pistons etc. i am thinking of having it sleeved. do i need to purchase different size pistons? thanks.

if you buy the correct size sleeves, no.

After install, the sleeves still need to be bored and honed to match your pistons.

Sleeves the slightly smaller than the pistons you have in there so you can bore match each hole to a piston. You probably have 99.5 or 100mm pistons so don't get 102mm sleeves. Better yet, ask your builder, he's the one that will be doing the machine work.
