When I first bought her about a year ago...I did Chicago to Maryland...about 700 miles. Then 6 weeks ago, I did the return trip.....

And now in one week, I will be doing the trip again, back to good old Baltimore.

Its about 12 hours...or so they say....

Drove from Indianapolis to Winnipeg (Canada) in one day!

Just over 1000 miles in a go.

Just bought the car and flew down to pick it up.

Not as comfortable as my RX-7 on the highway, but a great car to cruise in. More than enough power on the highway to pass, but gas mileage sucks My 3rd gen RX-7 gets better gas mileage on the highway!

The RE070s make a ton of road noise

Richmond, VA to Buffalo, NY. It's about 11 hours.

I slept in the back seat with a friend reclined all the way in the front passenger seat.

It was not comfortable driving because the STi seats are so horribly bolstered/padded. The back seats, however, are some of the most comfortable seats I've had the pleasure of sleeping in.

FortWayne, In to Northern Maine...

With 3 people, 3 dogs(2 labs and a shelty), a two person kayak, 3 bikes, and a thule roof top carrier.

Needless to say we were pretty packed down in our forester. Went the whole way with no issues. Awesome trip.

Lake Tahoe, CA to Eugene, OR 12 hours then back a day later and across country from Lake Tahoe to Charleston, SC! Didn't sleep in car then but did do two 20 hour stints to shorten trip by a day all in all four days driving. Car was LLLOOOOAAADDDEEEDDD to the gills with all my shtuff and a dog it was a driving machine especially coming through Ten. the Dragon's Tail...... good times would definitely do it again and probably will be in a year or so when my GF and I move back out West.

Side note I did sleep one night in the car in Lake Tahoe I'm 6'3"! Not to comfortable.

San Diego to Northern California (r/t 800 miles)
San Diego to Houston, TX (r/t 3400 miles)
San Diego to Salt Lake City (r/t 1600 miles)
San Diego to Packwood, WA (r/t 4200 miles)
San Diego to Topeka, KS (r/t 3000 miles)

From memory, miles may be rounded up/down.

This is all in a '98 Impreza L while towing a tire trailer, packed full, with no cruise control.

Oh, and all in the same year (2007 autocross season).

Just got back from another 3600 miles trip in the other car, Houston TX to Wendover UT and back, all in 4 days no a/c!

I wish I had my WRX when I drove from Anchorage to Vancouver, Wa... It would have been alot more fun.

Longest drive with the WRX though is Cheyenne, WY to Vancouver, WA 1170 miles and I've done it a few times... stopping only for gas.

Default NC to TX

Have driven my 2007 STi and my 2006 9-2x aero from coastal North Carolina to Austin, TX.

It's a 1,350 mile trip each way, and I've done it more than ten times!

I usually break it into an 18 hr and a 6 hr day, and stop overnight.

I've driven the entire trip from Texas to NC in 21-23 straight hours a few times, stopping only for gas and pee pee breaks. By the time I got home, I was a zombie.

21 hours of solid driving is no fun; I don't care if you're in a Maybach.
