Default Installing front sway bar, what are these parts for?

Hi,
I'll be doing the install Sunday, photos below show what came in the box from Rallitek. In the 2nd photo, I'm not sure where those parts are supposed to go.
Thanks!!

They are collars that you install on the sway next to the bushings to keep it from moving around.

How can the bushings move around? They're inside the gold brackets, and the brackets are bolted to the car. The brackets actually fit into a recess on the bushings, so I don't see how there can be movement. Now, if the bushings were flat (no recess), I can see what you're saying is certainly possible, that the bushings can slide out from under the brackets.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I belive he means to keep the bar from moving side to side inside the bushings. You are correct those bushings will not move inside the metal u-brackets.

Here is a non-visual thread link http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ht=collar+sway

I'm @ work and can't go pic hunting but a lot of people use hoseclamps etc to keep the bar from 'walking' under high load. This is just a more aestetically pleasing colution.
