I like it a lot!! Rides better then stock!! Especially since I live in the Midwest and all the roads are horrible.. :/ Lowing it this summer cause I can't stand the wheel gap anymore...

Thanks for the feedback. I like the meatier tire look and the smoother ride would be nice too.

Don't know what car you have as I am on the mobile app, but if you have a 5 speed you might wanna look into the 245/40/17. Will still ride well but will have slightly better gearing than the 45 series sidewall. Just good for thought.

That seems to be popular, which surprises me considering the 245/45 is closer to the stock dimensions.

And yes, I have the WRX.

I have 17x8 +35 rims now and I'm trying to decide if I can safely run 245/45 tires without issue or if I should just stick with 235/45. I've seen that 245/40 is popular but I wanted a little taller of a tire more to fill in the wheel gap. I have koni struts and RCE black springs, so I'm a little lower than stock but not much.

There is a set in the NESIC classified for $1300 I believe.
(I'm on my phone, so I don't have a link.)

I'm running the exact setup you're speaking of (minus koni struts). I have RCE Blacks sitting 17x8 rpf1s on 245/45 hankook ventus v12's (meatier than most 245's). No issues at all. Although I do feel that the tires are a bit mushy during turn in but that could be because of the excess meat that hankook uses on this tire.

to keep away from thread jacking
