Default 2008 STI cobb AP/DP combo

Would anybody post their experience with upgrading to that combo pls?

I am surprised there has been no posts about that yet.

I would appreciate any comments with regards to installation, power gains etc.

thanks in advance

If you go to Cobb's website it should tell you EXACTLY what you need to know. Read the Downpipe FAQ for install advice though it should be slightly different with 08s. There's pretty much no surprises though.

Install was great cept one bitch of a bolt on bottom of the turbo->DP area. No measured numbers though butt dyno says WOOT!. Using Prodrive Stage 2 map. Harman Motive TBE. I know not exactly the combo you were asking about but thought i would throw my 2 cents in

The COBB AP + DP combo is a must-have upgrade! My car has these parts along with a Fujitsubo cat-back and it is worlds better than the stock car, both in terms of power and driveability.

I was looking more for comments by people who have actually done it as well as their impressions. I have all the technical data. Thanks

I have MadDad shorty DP with Magnaflow CBE and Cobb stage 2. Can't imagine keeping it stock at least Go Ap stage 1.

I'm just a WRX guy, but damn the car is a different beast with the exhaust and AP. I also have a Harman Motive Intake (until I buy a FMIC) and what a difference an intake makes as well. The car pulls some much harder from a stop and its midrange is much improved as well.

are you running the shorty with the stock 2nd cat to the magnaflow CBE? I was interested in getting the shorty so i can move up to stage 2.
