Default HUGE injector problems!

I recently put a 16G turbo on my 03 WRX. Now that it's pretty much broken in I finally got around to installing my JDM Sti pinks along with a turbo inlet pipe. Ive been using a cobb 16G map that I modified to run with the stock injectors at boost levels similar to the stage 2 map. When I installed the injectors today and reflashed it with the proper map, the car now runs rough and the check engine light is flashing. This really puts me in a bind since it's my only way to get around.

It appears that the left rear injector is not spraying fuel. I pulled the spark plug on that cylinder and it was dry as a bone. Is this injector completly screwed or is there something I can try in order to solve this problem. I really hope I dont need to swap my injectors back again. This sucks!

Help!

If that cylinder is causing the mis-fire when you probably have a bad injector. I'd make sure the electrical connection is good. I might measure the resistance of the injector to make sure is has low but, not zero resistance. I'd probably switch the stock injectors back in and see if it goes back to normal.

Yeah, the injector is definitely not spraying because I removed the spark plug and it was bone dry. I put the stock injectors in and now it runs fine. I'll check the resistance like you said tomorrow. If resistance is normal is there any way to repair this peice of crap or is it junk now?

Injectors are magnents that turn on and off to allow fuel flow.

Sounds like you have two options: get it tested to verify or get another one. Refund?

I'd send it to a place that cleans injectors.

I wish I could get a refund but I bought these things used off of Ebay like 6 months ago. I just bought some modified stock injectors now. Hopefully these will work out much much better. I'll put them on next weekend. Thanks for your input everyone.

Maybe I can sell the pinks now. Anyone want 3 injectors? Anyone?

send your pinks to the sites listed above and have them tested. it's only $30 or so.

Will do. If they can bring it back to life, I can have them balanced, sell them and get my money back out of them. Thank you.
