BINGO!!! That's exactly what I needed to know. It sounded like something was slipping, and I was wondering how to tighten it.

Thank you! That saves me from having to drop the ceiling liner.

Now to go in search of one 05-07 BBS wheel to replace the dead one...
You'll love the auto up windows... not likely so the power seatbelts... I hate those damn things with a passion in my budy's 92' (Bobby knows the one don't cha Bobby.) I say turn the red one into a track only car and widen the fenders out.
But yeah as Cozy said run the adjustable latterals from an STi and one more problem down. I still need to get me a few sets for my SVX and Impreza... I also need replacement doors for the SVX. the door cancer got BAD this year and I didnt' find time to get it fixxed. Any parts you need let me know. I've got two up here at the local yard. I'm grabbing a wingless trunk and a pair of doors for myself.

white.

Then again black would be pretty "Batmobile" and that has it's advantages.

Thanks so much for confirming 17x9's fit. That's a plunge I've been wanting to take.

They do fit the front as well right?

Not so good on the front. they are a little wide. Some rolling and some negative camber in the front will help with that.

Thanks, when you have them fit, please share everything that was necessary.
Also, is the car your testing on currently on stock struts/springs, or koni/gc's?

good tranny came out of the old red car today. Will drop dead tranny from white car and put in good tranny in the next few days.

Right now we have four SVX here at the shop. My old red, my new white, customer white, and customer black. I have more SVX here than imprezas and it's starting to look like a meet.

Inspect the flex plate carefully for the slightest spiderwebbing around the center before you reinstall.. Had a cracked flex plate on an SVX and didnt know it until everything was back together. Not fun...

thanks for the heads up. I'll check that out.

BTW, Ben from Wales Garage wants to take the red one, widebody it, drop in an LS1 with a T56 and enter the car into D1 drift competition.

What are your thoughts on that?

Is he a joint account holder with Bill Gates?

Honestly, if $$ is not that big of a deal, and you have a high degree of fabrication talent than the one issue I foresee as being the crux of the project is the height of the LS1. To do this swap properly you would obviously need to make a custom front subframe and have the motor sit as low as possible and even then I think you will have to cowl the hood significantly. Then it would just be some quality time with the wiring harness and making sure the rear end can handle the torque (any idea what he is thinking for a rear diff?).
CAN it be done, yes..
Would it be BA? Extremely...

Aragosta made coilovers for the SVX at one time. It might be worth looking into.

Hey Porter!!! Long time no see! I'll look into those. The latest big discovery is the bushing pack from Poland. I have 5 sets on the way, and should see them next week.

R200 rear diff perhaps? But that's getting us off topic of THIS SVX, and developing suspension components and other parts.

Even if it's just offering packaged set of GC springs and Koni inserts without having to hunt the part numbers? Anyone know them BTW? I need to order them up. I want to build something softer than those coilovers I have right now and just do sways and endlinks to even up the side to side stability. GF lives in ME, me NH, and it's killing me and my axles and brakes compensating for the roads and still making good time.

What do you expect when you have 10% of the north american allocation in one place.
