On top of all that we have the normal day to day stuff so the SVX is WAY down on the list.

So what you are saying is, Mrs TiC's rack is more important?

latest update. I have to get the white SVX up and running so the wifey can drive it. reason being is I need to get the outback in and rebuild the tranny on that one. I think I've got a bearing dying in it, and it's only getting worse.

while it's in I'm going to refresh all the suspension bushings (dampers were done last year).

That's about it.

Cool. I'd love to see what can be done to stiffen the suspension in these boats. I have a 92 LSL that needs some lovin. I plan on swapping the 3.52 trans/rear for a 4.44 soon.

Stiffer suspension makes a huge difference. Just remember that too stiff and it's crazy boncey. my 94' has a custom set of coilovers that are a modded set of some random set that there is no back history to figure out what they actually started as. Any who I'm planning to get around to Koni inserts/ GC coils. That's proovent he best combo. Match the spring rates to what you plan to do with the car.

Nice-always liked svx's and its good to see builds on platforms that usually aren't modded.

Hey TiC... Let me know if this sounds like a good idea...

After this new SVX gets up and running - TAKE IT TO One Lap of America 2012 or 2013!!

I mean, not build up hugely or anything, but just to get the TiC name back in One Lap, and to be the first SVX to run One Lap of America ... It should be able to run in the classic car class shouldn't it?? Especially if the white one is a 92...

If that sounds like a good idea and you need a co-driver, let me know

I should be out of flight school within a year, so 2012 MAY be an option

No WAY will it make it this year as we're working on getting the race car on this ticket. Perhaps next year, but it'll need some work before that happens.... Like dampers. Oh man are the stock ones dead.

I DO really like this idea though. I wonder if we can afford for all parties to be gone for a week...

Clint I got your email the other day about wanting a swaybar. Yes, I am working on some right now. I could rush one through for you so you have something to update this thread if you like...

Also, we should just do a good old fashioned parts swap. Because that's what makes america great.

And now, for no reason at all, a picture of my svx.

Because who DOESN'T like a svxy car?

DAMN! that looks really nice.

I picked up some 05 STi wheels for mine that I'll have painted black to on on the panda.

Funny thing is we had a silver 92 LSi show up the other day needing a tranny. So now there's 3 of them parked out back.

These are great cars for sure. And a true all weather sports car. Drove mine 20 miles through 14 inches of snow last winter. NOT planning on doing that again. hahah In fact, the car's gonna be garaged this winter.

Hey Clint, I am getting ready to ship another batch of bars, and am currently taking orders.

Here's the link http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...709#post691709

If you want, we can maybe do some swappage.
