Cool Introduction and a question:

Hello all Sube Owners!

I've been getting tips from this board for my MY97 Imp Outback Sport wagon. Great help from all(and a grain of salt, of course ~s)

I purchased MY99 stock RS springs and struts before searching EVERYTHING here.

The question is: Will the wagon sag in the back once the RS suspension goes in?

If this is the answer, I have very low mileage stock RS suspension for sale!

Thanks in advance,

Adam

Welcome to the club!

From what I was told - the Wagon has the same springs in the back as the RS. You could call Rallispec in NJ - to confirm that.

They asked me if I had a OBS wagon before they sent me the RS shocks/struts. - Kris

Adam, that's an interesting paint scheme - I thought it was a Legacy at first.

I doubt the OBS has the same springs as the RS, or else the RS should have at least 6.5" of ground clearance too. I think the RS and other Imprezas have 5.7". Mike Shield's suspension info page at SPD Tuning also says the wagons have different springs.

The RS springs will make your car lower, but I don't know how much sag you'll end up with. You may not even notice it?

The shocks may actually be the same in the two cars, though.
