Default Rebuilding Megan Racing Coilovers: HELP

Hi guys. So my passenger rear cylinder blew and I ordered a replacement from MR. Tonight, I took the coilover out and attempted to disassemble the unit. I got everything out except for the McPherson Bracket. My dad and I had it on a mount and pound the **** out of it, but still no movement. I was going to take it to a machine shop to see if they can get it out. My questions are: Anyone have any ideas on how to get the bracket out? Will the machine shop be able to get it out? If so, do you think the teeth on the cylinder and bracket are shot and if they get out out, the bracket will be useless? Have anyone experience this with their coilover set up MR or others?
