Was passed this morning by a silver bugeye with rear spats, a diffuser, and something hanging from the center of the diffuser. (couldn't tell exactly what it was) I threw deuces and he gave the nod as he passed by. He ended up getting off at rt8 from 271N. Car looked really clean!

How's traffic been on 271? My co-workers who come from that direction have been bitching about it a lot more recently..

Now is the best time ever to be a mustang addict.

The new V6 mustangs are faster around a track than an STi. much less the Gt, Boss 302 and the new 650HP GT500.

Its the golden age of the mustang right now.

It's really hit or miss. It was pretty bad a couple of weeks ago for whatever reason. If I see brake lights just past the rt8 overpass, I get off at rt8 in the morning and sneak my way up to Solon.

I was actually considering picking up a Mustang 5.0 in a few years as my summer car... They are a very good bang for the buck and supposedly perform amazingly well.

Speaking of mustangs, my wife and I just picked up a 66 to do a restoration on. It should be fun.

Hey guys. So I've grown tired of trying to pass echeck without cats and thought I would throw this out there. Right now I have the following catless exhaust pieces on my car:
TurboXS Up-pipe
Invidia Down-pipe
Invidia G200 Titanium Tip Catback

If you would like to trade any of these for one of yours that has a cat let me know. Can be straight up trade or money either way depending on how many miles and how much it is worth. I have about 30K miles on these parts. Not looking to trade stock parts as I want something more high-flowing that stock but if you have extra stock parts I will buy them off you. Lemme know!

The invidia DP, how much do you want for it? I only have my stock DP, and would want to keep it in case. I do have my stock exhaust, and I'm not sure if I care about keeping that.

Well, that would leave me without a downpipe....

I guess I misinterpreted what you were saying, I thought maybe you were saying you were either looking to trade OR sell. That's my bad. If no one is interested in trading and you decide to sell the downpipe, just lemme know.

What was the problem? code thrown or visual inspection for a cat? Aftermarket engine management should take care of any codes. You can also do the resistor mod for the EGT sensor or use anti-foulers for the cat O2 sensor. I didn't think they would look too carefully for the cats although I have run a downpipe with fake cat midpipe.

I'm in university heights. You should come to the meets up and hear it there. Another dude has one too. The sound is amazing. I really don't want to give it up. Let me know if you have something to trade.

Will do. It might come to having to sell it and just buy a new catted dp.

Speaking of meets... what is everyone up to tomorrow? BTW, I am the other dude who has the G200 and I'm on the stock downpipe. That is good to know that you aren't passing the visual inspection with the G200. I was considering a catless DP and trying to pass off the resonator in the G200 as a cat. Since you are not having good luck with it, it reaffirms my decision to just buy a high flow catted DP.
