What does GR stand for? I guess it's a newb question but I am used to the acronym being the color callout.

GR is the chassis code for the newer model Imprezas/ WRX's/ STi's. GD was 02-07 which can further be broken down to the bugeye, blobeye/ peanut eye, and hawkeye nicknames. Since irdk what people are calling the new style ones I just go by the chassis code. GM, GF, GC were prior to 2002.

I need to see if I can get the 2012 trunk trim at the dealership (its body color), since subaru finaly figured out everyone hates the aluminum look

Erik,

There are a few spots in brunswick to take photos, now that i've immersed myself more in the photonerdery realm. Some cool substation pics can be had in a few locales

I can't wait for snow to start flying either. running the same tires (DS-3). Also, my mechanical prosport gauge works just fine. must be some cheap electronics.

Do tell! I've been looking for neat places to take pics recently, both of my car and pure landscapes. Hinkley Lake seems like a good bet, but I haven't been able to scope it out yet.

If either of you go out for some pics once the snow starts sticking, hit me because I'd def be interested in getting some winter pics of my car.

I wouldn't go that far, I got 4k more for my trade at Brunswick from my friend. I've taken 3 people there and my family's bought 5 so far. Ganley can't touch prices I've seen. One salesman even went as far calling my friend a liar and that deal counldnt go through, but it did. That STI is a great price because I bet the owner got raked over the coals either on it or the one he bought.
